I think we can all admit life’s kind of weird right now. When is a better time than a global pandemic to remind ourselves why all of this is worth it in the end????
- Food. Like all kinds.
- Morning coffee & afternoon tea.
- Sunset over the ocean.
- Finishing a good book.
- Happy crying.
- When your favorite song comes on the radio.
- When someone you love says they love you.
- Bubble baths.
- Full tank of gas.
- Clean sheets. Freshly made bed.
- Washing your face at the end of the day.
- Letting your hair down after a long day.
- Peeing after its been like 30 years.
- Sleeping in and having nothing to do.
- Breakfast for dinner. IDK. It’s just better.
- Runner’s high.
- Babys laughing in their diapers. What? It’s true.
- Working hard and getting rewarded.
- Giving a really good gift.
- Being involved in a “pay it back” situation at a drive-through.
- Receiving a really good gift.
- Bumping into an old friend.
- The lay down chairs at the new movie theaters.
- Getting a massage.
- 4th of July.
- Looking at snowfall when you open your window (I live in Colorado, so, yeah).
- Smelling cookies in the oven.
- Eating cookies fresh out of the oven.
- Road trips with music loud.
- Meditating when it works.
- Learning something new and understanding it.
- Outdoor concert at Red Rocks.
- Graduations. College. Highschool. Anything.
- Peppermint Hot chocolate during holidays.
- Laughing until your stomach hurts.
- Lighting a new candle.
- Wedding celebrations.
- The mini foot massage when you get a pedicure.
- Air conditioning when you are burning.
- Diving under a wave in the ocean.
- Ordering your favorite takeout.
- Compliments that are not about appearance.
- Booking a flight for a vacation.
- Packing for a vacation.
- When someone lets you eat the last of something.
- Getting your favorite flowers.
- Forehead kisses.
- Baking with your mom.
- Handmade anything from someone who spent a long time on it.
- Getting something expensive on sale.
- When someone tells them they are proud of you.
- Candid photos.
- Finding money in your pocket.
- Crisp apples.
- Snorkeling in clear water.
- Slicing into perfectly cooked steak.
- The first chip at a Mexican restaurant.
- Acing a test.
- When the mailbox is full.
- Landing on a flight.
- Carwashes.
- New Year’s Eve countdown.
- ICE-CREAM CONES WITH SPRINKLES.
- Canceled class or work or meetings.
- Setting a personal record in something.
- When the doctor tells you good news.
- No lines at a store.
- When the arrow is green & you just got there.
- Clean teeth.
- Blowing out the candles.
- Snow days.
- Rainbows.
- The first spoonful of peanut butter from the jar.
- Campfires & smores.
- Meeting a new friend that you truly connect with.
- Holding hands on a first date.
- Seeing stars in a mountain town.
- Lattes with the cute little hearts on top.
- Aspen trees in the summer.
